Created for IJM, this animated video tells the story of a young woman rescued from human trafficking, while helping viewers understand the impact of this issue and the importance of the work being done to fight it. The tone had to be handled with intention: emotional, but not sensationalized; clear, but never harsh for the sake of being dramatic.
We worked across the full creative process, shaping the script, visual language, characters, animation, and original music into a piece that could support the message with dignity and care.
For us, this was a reminder that animation can be a powerful way to open conversations that are difficult, but necessary.
